What’s going on in Cambourne before Christmas
Welcome Cambournians
Have you just moved to Cambourne? Are you looking to get more involved in your local community? Well here are some fun and interesting things to do in Cambourne over the next month.
From singing to car booting whatever takes your fancy, GET INVOLVED.
Last Thursday of every month- Greens
If you’re a budding musician or maybe you think you have that certain X-factor well, on the last Thursday of every month Greens hold an open mic night. You can turn up play for the crowd and then enjoy a few drinks with everyone as others take to the stage to show off their performance skills.
Next date is the 22nd of October starts at 7pm.
See you there.
Every Sunday at the Monkfield Arms
Just how clever do you think you are? Maybe you have some great general knowledge hidden in the back of your brain. Come down and enjoy some delightful food, great atmosphere and see if you and your team can become new weekly quiz champions.
Next date is 3rd of October start times vary, usually around 8pm
Good luck.
Saturday 3rd October 10-11am The Hub meeting room
Do you care about your community? Would you like to get involved and find out more information about what is going on in Cambourne? Then head down to the hub meeting room on Saturday the 3rd of October for a friendly, relaxed chat with your neighbours. This month’s topic is “crime and anti-social behaviour”. You will be joined by people in the community, a member from the Cambourne police station and district councillors.
Let’s all pull together and help our community.
Saturday 17th October 9am-1pm
How many of you have loads of unwanted clutter or maybe moving house well, come down to The Hub car park and join in the Cambourne Car boot sale. If you want to join in pitches are available to hire for £5. Tea coffee and bacon butties to be served throughout the day.
Come and see if you can find any hidden treasures.
28th November 12-3pm Cambourne community church
Could you think about nothing better than sitting relaxing and making some arts and crafts? Maybe you already enjoy afternoons creating things other people would enjoy. It could be time to get involved and set up your own stall with Cambourne arts and crafts.
Come and show everyone your creative side.
