Why live in Eltisley?

The picturesque village of Eltisley is situated just off the A428 and is within easy access to St Neots, Cambridge, St Ives and Huntingdon. St Neots offers a mainline commuter service to London Kings Cross. The A1198 also provides good access to Royston. The village is centred around the village green where cricket dominates the summer months. Read More...

The local pub is The Eltisley and its restaurant benefits from a good reputation. The village boasts its own primary school, the Newton Community Primary School, which currently has about 90 pupils, and falls within the secondary school catchment of Longsands in St Neots. The second week of July sees Feast Week, where each day a cricket match takes place, on the Saturday the Church fete is held with the traditional tug-of-war contest with a local village. The Cade Memorial Hall and cricket club situated on the green hold different events throughout the year, such as murder mystery evenings and film showings; it also hosts the history society’s monthly speaker meetings and has a bar which is open on both Friday evenings and Sunday lunch times.
