Cambourne Runners ARC is a mixed, friendly sociable running club with 60 members and growing. We are an all-abilities inclusive club that aims to stretch those who want to be stretched while providing a fun, fulfilling running environment for those after something gentler.
We meet twice a week. We meet on Saturday mornings at 8.50 for a 9am start and on Wednesday evenings at 7.10 for a 7.15pm start. We meet at The Hub in Great Cambourne. On Saturdays we normally do a two-three mile run followed by a natter over coffee at Greens! Our Wednesday night runs are geared towards those who want to push themselves a wee bit more with greater focus on stamina with efforts sessions or 10Ks.
We also hold introductory running courses each year and longer training runs for those training for long distance events. We have regular club socials and nights out. For all this, we charge the princely annual sum of £2! So why not pop along and give it a go?! It’s a great way to meet people, stay fit, and feel a real part of the thriving community of Cambourne.
