Always popular for its warm welcome, great food and excellent service standards, offering frequent live entertainment, quiz nights, TV’s and friendly staff to have a chat with.
Enjoy something different with our Black Rock Grill menu every evening. Cook your own dish to your liking at the table with a great choice of steaks, seafood and vegetable kebabs. Choose from a large selection including The Barley Mow Mixed Grill, Sizzling Fajitas, Seasonal Salads as well as Jacket Potatoes and Bloomer Sandwiches for the not so hungry. There is always a good selection on our special board and a great selection of delicious homemade desserts on the menu. Early Birds can chose from 2 courses for £9.95 or 3 courses from £11.95 between 5.30 – 7.00pm Monday to Friday.
Kids aren’t forgotten and families are always welcome with a special kids menu and a child can eat free when accompanied by an adult purchasing a main meal Monday to Friday (not available with the Early Bird menu).
Whether you just fancy a night out or have something to celebrate, The Barley Mow is a great place to visit. Looking for somewhere to hold a function? We can cater for large parties and celebrations, just drinks or a buffet. Give us a call and Gwyneth or Clara will be happy to discuss your requirements with you. We have a large patio garden with comfortable seating and umbrellas to enjoy a drink with friends or family or dine al-fresco.
We offer a good selection of lagers and cask ales, a good choice of wines by the glass or the bottle and if you would rather something less alcoholic a first-rate selection of soft drinks and choice of hand-crafted beverages.
